On Tuesday the first group presentation was given. The three main ideas that were given are the following; Art becomes a basic subject that required with any curriculum of excellence, art encourages students to think abstractly, and some children may attend school more regularly if there is an art program.  One part of there presentation that was useful for me was the right brain drawing. PSU was the only thing on my mind at that time so without thinking that was the first thing that popped into my head and started to draw. It was also useful to me to think back to my school years and think about how the subjects I hated in school could have been better if art was incorporated into it. Also I got some great lesson ideas for some of those subjects that were not so easy that can make it more interesting for my future students.
